Cork City was awash with Wallys on Sunday, 4th June 2011 as a striped and spectacled Where’s Wally troop from Cork marched up Patrick’s Hill with Jack Wise Street Performance World Champion 2010 to launch the Street Performance World Championship event, which takes place in Fitzgerald Park, Cork City on June 11th and 12th. The Wallys were on hand to sit, stand, salute, sing and do a little dance, not only to remind people what a full on fun day out for all the family the SPWC will be but also to launch the Where’s Wally World Record attempt, which takes place in Cork on Sunday, 12th June as part of the event’s thrill packed programme. People who wish to participate in the Where’s Wally World Record attempt in Cork can buy their costume on www.spwc.ie for €12. Profits from the sales of the Wally costumes go to Africa Aware.<br />
